ABOUT US
The purpose of CREATE is to foster a broad range of improvements in the Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania area through revitalization efforts including, but not limited to:
- Continued efforts to revitalize our core downtown area
- Community planning and beautification
- Historical preservation and embracing the French Creek Waterway
- Advancement of the arts
CREATE will support these objectives in following the IRS 501(c)(3) guidelines by providing planning, organizational, managerial, and financial resources in support of targeted redevelopment initiatives.
PENDING:
Major grants for extensive improvements to the Recreation Park at the Carnival Grounds – adding new playground equipment, basketball/ pickleball courts, walking track, updated concession stand and restrooms, and lighting for the softball fields. A $1.5 million dollar project with your opportunity to contribute and become involved. To date, $500,000 has been raised.

HAPPENING NOW:
Ongoing NexTrex Recycling Program – bins set up in the Borough Office entrance, laundromat, and library, clean plastic only. Help CREATE collect another 1,000 pounds for another bench.
COMPLETED:
Phase one of the Recreation Park, the new playground, has been completed, installed, and open for usage now for children ages 2-11.
Fireman’s Parking Lot Fundraiser - $7,000 raised and completed. Thank you, Cambridge Springs!
Raised $7,000 for 28 six-foot flower boxes that will adorn the Main Street Bridge in the summer of 2026.
